Celebrating the Ordinary – Day One
I thought this very apt when I saw it on my Facebook timeline this morning!
Some of you couldn’t’ wait to get started with this challenge of celebrating the ordinary. Nancy of The Pink Underbelly got started straight away, closely followed by Philippa of A Feisty Blue Gecko and both Sinead and Jamie sent me adorable pictures of their pets which I have posted to Facebook.
I really love how you have embraced this challenge, and I was so happy when I readย Philippa’s words that the biggest challenge will be only finding one thing to post each day. Isn’t that a wonderful way to look at life?!
My picture..a bunch of hydrangea freshly picked from my garden and gracing my kitchen window sill today.
Thank you Marie ๐ -I just love the hydrangeas, all the different shades of blues, violets, purples and the detail of their petals, against the lush green of the Irish fields. Beautiful. I just love this challenge. I usually have my camera in my bag, ready to capture impressions and moments here – tomorrow it will be in my pocket as I walk to work. I wonder what will catch my eye. And I wonder if I will be late for work!!!

I really like that you are doing this challenge with everyone – it’s like that poster says – there is always something to be grateful for each day – even if it is just a tiny thing – we should never overlook it

Some friends of mine have been in town, and I’ve been showing them San Antonio. You know what that means… Lots of photos! I’ll be posting them this afternoon. You may be surprised because they don’t look like they were taken in America.
Hope you’ve been having a wonderful day, my friend!
XOXOXO,
Brenda

Love the flowers framed by a snippet of window โ a window onto (and into) your world. This is a great challenge that is not challenging at all. Just fun! ๐

It is lovely to see you, Marie, and to join in the challenge. Taking more than a minute to consider the lilies (and your lovely hydrangeas) ๐ …

Working on my day one post now…SUNDAY NIGHT! I am duly envious of your hydrangeas. Mine seemed to have drowned. The summer has been beautiful but when it rains, it seems it comes down fast and furious!
I’m in… First post up soon!
SO glad you are back!

The rain in Ireland doesn’t seem to have affected the hydrangeas ๐ Looking forward to your post Anne Marie
