How do you eat an elephant?
You may already be familiar with this riddle of how you eat an elephant (I only heard it for the first time recently and it has really stuck with me); the answer being:
And so it is with life.
You change your life one thought, one step, one moment at a time.
You achieve your work, your life, your health goals one bite at a time.
So next time you find yourself faced with a task that feels overwhelming, remember this saying and take things one step, one moment, one bite at a time.
Never heard of this either until now – but I like it 🙂

Great analogy. I love analogies!!! For the past few months I’ve being learning and putting into practice David Allen’s Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology, as a way of helping me to eat my elephants.
It takes some time to get into it, but once cracked it is a fantastic process. I’d highly recommend it.
