Look beyond the external
The class was asked, “What color are apples?” “Red. Yellow. Green,” they responded enthusiastically. One boy sat silent. “Yes, Johnny?” “I think they are white,” he told the teacher. She scolded him, “Everyone knows apples are red or yellow or green.” “Not when you look on the inside,” he said.
Today, I …will pause. . .and look beyond the exterior . .to see what’s on the inside. . .and maybe, just maybe, find beauty there.

LOVE IT!!! What a great object lesson!! How did you know that I am using this “healing week” to look on the inside? I have placed an apple next to my computer as a reminder of this post. Thanks!
