Hello.
Please read how IVF medications led to my breast cancer and how a breast cancer study using genetic testing to check estrogen metabolism is saving my life.

Your site is enviable. I am relatively new to this but found because of dana jennings. You might enjoy something I’ve written paralleling breast cancer in the female to prostate in the male. Something else… we have the same theme from wordpress and i need to learn how you do some of those things in the widgets. the best…. jm ps oh yea… the reason I am writing is for you to read my post today about the breast/prostate thing.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am a new cancer survivor and am struggling with post cancer treatment depression right now. I have one more surgery left before I can say I am done with all treatment but does it really ever end?
I make and sell jewelry and have to say that my jewelry and customers kept me going through out this whole process. They helped me survive it! I sell a full line of cancer awareness jewelry so please stop by.
Again thank you for putting into words what many of us are going through but don’t have the talent to share.

I stumbled upon the blog through Facebook via Chemobabe as it caught my attention. A topic about the unseen internet cancer community caught my eye as this has become a main supporting force for me. I am a young breast cancer survivor new to the community. Though breast cancer is too prevalent (one is too many in my opinion) as seen in the crowds at those walks, I often feel alone as a breast cancer survivor with young children instead of grandchildren. I was diagnosed in my 30s and after 2 years in treatment, I still face many tough issues. I found catharsis in writing as I have before, but since my diagnosis, I found that keeping a blog was especially healing. I have “met” so many people online with common experiences and ideas. Thank you for your blog and messages of hope.

I was 19 when i was diagnosed with Melinoma to my spine,which required skin grafts to cover the whole in my back. At 28 I was diagnosed with Breast cancer and by the age off 30 I had a bilateral Mastectomy which ended my marriage as he moved into the other room.I stayed for ten years to raise my children then promised my dieing mother of lung cancer I would would leave him and enjoy what life i have left.I have found love in my life,something i thought i would never do so dont give up HOPE as there is LIFE and LOVE after CANCER I am now 50 and happy and I know If my mum was alive she would be the happiest women in the world to see me HAPPY

HI Marie, Just wanted to let you know I have tried to post many messages (some of them winded though much thought out) that have not been posted. Probably minor quirky things that need to be worked around that I don’t have the savvy to pick up on how to resolve. But I have been present … just wanted you to know and also I have found this recent thread on **%$_ things people say so very close to my heart. Am finding comfort in folks’ responses.

Hello Marie, I’m glad I found your blog today. I volunteer with The Healing and Cancer Foundation http://www.healingandcancer.org. So many people and their lives are touched by cancer. My husband died from brain cancer in 2007. You touch on so many real topics. It’s helpful to read about them.
