Aw Marie How are you? The days are indeed running away like wild horses. I hope all is well with you. I’ve been meaing to message you for ages … you’re so good to continue sharing everyone’s writing. I don’t know of anyone who has been so supportive. You must know the JBBC community is only a community because of you. I hope you feel appreciated.
I’m sort of getting back into writing again. I had a couple of setbacks, took a couple of hits to my confidence, but here I am. I’ve moved most of my writing over to Substack.Ii haven’t decided if I like it yet. I’m at: https://substack.com/@homingbird if you want to follow/share etc I think I’m going to try to write an actual book within the next 12 months. Slogging away at that. Anyway ..
Hope to hear from you soon and maybe get into the habit of staying in touch. I don’t know why I’m so bad at it.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had some setbacks and knocks to your confidence, but I’m so glad you are finding your way back to writing. I think many of us know that feeling of stepping away and wondering if we still have something to say—only to discover that the words are still there waiting for us. I love that you are thinking about writing a book. What an exciting (and challenging!) adventure. I’ll definitely follow along with your Substack and look forward to seeing where your writing takes you.
