Weekly Round-Up

Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and that I’ve wanted to share with you. Don’t forget that if you have written a post that you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.

We’re into the last week of Pinktober and Martha wishes this month was more about saving the people who will die from breast cancer and less about pink ribbons and sexualizing the disease.

A Pinktober guest post by Rod on Nancy‘s blog. Rod also guest on Dr Susan Love and Advanced Breast Cancer.

Lisa shares a list of reputable cancer charities to donate money to during the month of October and Barbara shares ways beyond financial support to contribute to those with breast cancer this month.

A video from Megsie on living with back pain and all the hoops she has had to jump through over the last five years.

Gabby shares seven steps to self-love.

A post from Jennifer on the exhaustion of going through breast cancer.

On Our MBC Life’s latest podcast Dr. Shanu Modi talks about HER2-low, the#DESTINY-Breast04 trial and what this all means.

Abigail shares a post that comes from a pop up writing workshop with Wildfire, “the only magazine and writing community for the women “too young” for breast cancer.”

Amy shares a twin sister discussion on their BRCA journey.

A post from Chris on the importance of humour during the cancer experience.

Finally this week, I want to thank all of you who reached out to me on the recent death of my father with words of support. I really appreciate your kindness.

Until next week,

Yours with much love always
