Weekly Round Up

Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and that I’ve wanted to share with you. Don’t forget that if you have written a post that you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.
Chris reflects on ten years of writing about cancer care in his latest post.
Nancy writes about experiencing mixed emotions during the 4th of July celebrations. See also Abigail’s post on the same theme too.
Sarah shares her love of soap in her latest 100 things she loves postings.
Carolyn is celebrating the beauty of her balcony roses.
Sheri writes about how the decisions we make reveal character.
Connie marks what would have been her Mom’s 99th birthday.
Barbara reflects on the passing of time.
Martha writes about the experience of being a cancer long-hauler.
Jennifer is dealing with the uncertainty of an inconclusive biopsy.
Finally this week, a very hard post to read from Maureen who is receiving end of life care at home. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Maureen and your family at this difficult time.
Until next week,
Yours with much love always

Hello again Marie! Thank you so much for including a link to the most recent post about my latest adventure in growing balcony roses this summer. There’s nothing like fretting about black spot and powdery mildew to distract me from pain and other “normal” forms of patient distress, and conversely there’s nothing quite so joyful as “surveying the estate” (as my family calls my very frequent inspection visits out to the balcony to count today’s blooms as they emerge!)
I hope that you are having a lovely summer so far – thank you for all that you do.
xoxo
