What Do You Understand About Early Phase Clinical Trials?

In advance of International Clinical Trials Day on May 20th I have developed, in partnership with patient engagement company, merakoi, a survey to identify patient understanding of early phase clinical trials and the factors that would influence your motivation to be a part of them.
Early phase, or phase I and phase II trials are the first step in testing new drugs that have been developed by researchers. In phase I trials, patients may be among the first to receive a new treatment. In early phase trials, the aim is to establish the correct dose of a drug, as well as side effects and toxicity, and determine if the drug is effective against cancer.
I would really appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete this short survey, the results of which I will share with you on the 20th.
With grateful thanks for your time.
