Weekly Round-Up:

Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.

This week, Jennifer shares how throughout her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment she used her AppleWatch to keep an eye on her physical recovery.

JoAnn shares her three-word mantra to guide 2021.

A lovely reflection from Connie on new beginnings.

Carolyn shares her thoughts on platitudes which will resonate with many of us – see also Jane’s guest post on positivity on Chris‘s blog.

Terri reports on exciting news about a new FDA breast cancer vaccine approval.

A post from Rod on male breast cancer reconstruction.

From dealing with grief to hospice care, Abigail shares some super resource webinars on her blog.

A guest post on Ticking Off Breast Cancer on building resilience.

Dr Attai reports on a newly published study conducted with patients who didn’t have reconstructive surgery after mastectomy.

Martha writes about living beyond the statistics and finding a way to celebrate a “cancerversary” with metastatic breast cancer.

Ann Marie speaks frankly about depression in her latest post.

Finally this week, I leave you with a thought from Barbara:

When was the last time that you told that special someone in your life how grateful you are for something that they did for you or for that matter, how much you appreciate having them in your life?

It reminded me to say thanks to YOU. I am so grateful that you continue to share your experiences each week so openly and honestly, and that I have the honor of rounding up your voices from across the globe in the Weekly Round-Up. I also want to say a very special thank you to Ilene Kaminsky, who I know you’ll agree is one of our biggest cheerleaders in this community. Week in and week out, she takes the time to offer us validation, support and love – and best of all, she does this in such a beautifully lyrical way. I don’t say it often enough, but Ilene, I appreciate your friendship and support more than you know.

Until next week,

Yours with much love always

Marie xxx
