Weekly Round-Up: The New Year Edition
Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.
Welcome to the first blog round-up of the year.
I love that Philippa is continuing a tradition that started a decade ago in the blogosphere – that of choosing three words to guide the year ahead.
Not three words, but one sacred word is the choice Abigail makes to guide 2020.
Janet, Chris, Dee, Jana, Connie, Barbara, Julia, Kimberly, Terri, JoAnn, Tracy, Britt and Wendi are all in an end of year/start of new decade reflective moods.
Emily recaps 2019 in her latest post.
Some practical tips on setting positive intentions for the new year from Nancy Seibel. See also Karin‘s post for setting new year’s resolutions.
A January link-up post from Naomi as she looks towards the new year.
A post celebrating a special relationship of friendship, love and support from Maureen.
An invitation from Julia Barnickle to start the new year with ease.
Advice from Amy on how to tell your children about inheritable cancer risk.
Finally this week, I leave you with some words from Ilene, which I think could serve many of us well in 2020
The year 2020 is my year of hindsight, to help me find the foresight, to live in this moment in a way that’s just right for me.
Until next week,
Yours with much love always,
Marie xxx
Thank you Marie – I wish everyone a Happy 2020! xx

Five years into my MBC and I’m afraid of the next five as the pains grow so do some fears, but with support like yours, my dearest Marie who journeys along with us, I fear less and hope more. The company I keep in writing this digital love letter attracts the most honestly expressed blogs by people who don’t care about a typo or if your opinion differs slightly but about you as a person. A human being with fear, pain, love, and hope. And I hope to continue to see all of these blogs blossom and grow with each weeks roundup. Without you I’d never have known some of the people I get so much support from, and I cannot thank you enough💜
