#WorldCancerDay: What Does It Mean To You?
Today, 4 February marks World Cancer Day.
Each year on this date across the world people come together to show support, raise our collective voice, take personal action and press our governments to do more.
2019 marks the launch of the 3-year ‘I Am and I Will’ campaign.
‘I Am and I Will’ is an empowering call-to-action urging for personal commitment and represents the power of individual action taken now to impact the future.
I know that so many of you already embody this theme and live it every day. I’m in awe of all you do, particularly those of you who work tirelessly to raise awareness of metastatic breast cancer.
I want to recognize your work here today – to amplify your voice. If you’d like me to create a graphic like this one for you, just leave a comment below.
Here are some more options if you prefer to choose one of these statements instead:
I am a supporter and I will take action
I am an advocate and I will speak up
I am a survivor and I will inspire others
I am a leader and I will spread the word
Or create your own wording.
If I get enough graphics completed I will make a collage of all our images to share at the end of the day.
Leave a comment below with your wording of choice and let me know if you want to include an image with your statement.
I am living and loving my life with cancer. I will inspire others.

Though does that sound like I love having cancer? That’s not what I meant.

How about this Sarah “I am living with cancer and loving my life. I will inspire others”.
