Do You Need A Writing Prompt?
I’ve been missing some bloggers in the blogosphere lately. I know how easy it is to fall out of the habit of regular blogging, so I am wondering if a writing prompt might help you re-engage with the writing process again.
Whether you are a regular blogger in need of some fresh inspiration or a lapsed blogger in need of a blogging reboot, let me know in the comments below if a writing prompt might help you. I’d love for us to get inspired together and keep the blogosphere alive with our collective writing.
That’s interesting. I’ve kind of shifted away from my “cancer” blog to a creative writing blog, which was originally my secondary blog. I link up with a number of writers there, and I’ve noticed that a lot of them have their own cancer experiences. I have wondered about setting up a space for creative writing aimed at people with cancer experiences, but haven’t got round to actively doing anything about it…

I think a writing prompt is really helpful. But not too often maybe?

What about once a week? Say at the start of each week? I could include it at the end of the weekly round-up?

Like Sarah, I don’t generally blog about cancer – although cancer works its way into some of my posts. I’ve not written much lately, and I think that writing prompts can be very helpful – even if the post ends up being about something completely different!

Hi Julia, I wasn’t thinking necessarily of “cancer prompts”but more general writing prompts. I’m a huge fan of your blog and would love to see more posts from you 🙂

I would love weekly writing ideas, Marie. I’m at the point where I’m wanting to blog about thimgs other than cancer, although I will blog about cancer from time to time.
