Weekly Round-Up
Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.
Do you watch the news? I hardly ever do these days – I find it far too depressing – but that’s not to say I don’t keep up to date with what’s happening in the world. Striking the balance between not becoming overwhelmed with the news and still staying informed is the theme of Karin‘s latest insightful blog.
Catherine is in a fresher state of mind now that Spring has finally sprung.
A nice round-up of articles by Susan on The Underbelly.
Super helpful advice from Kathi on how managed one of those growing older side-effects – bladder leaking.
A thought-provoking post on Nancy‘s blog on looking for cancer clues in old photographs.
Good tips from Stephanie on how healthcare providers can better deliver bad news to patients.
Another delightful post from Connie on pressing the pause button in our “go-go” lives.
Juliet shares her thoughts on post-mastectomy options.
Sue discusses the state of patient engagement in Canada and laments recent regressive steps.
Finally this week, my thoughts go out to Becky as she deals with shocking news about her Mom’s health. Having been in a similar situation with my own mother, I desperately searched for something meaningful to say, but I came up short. All I can do is send loving thoughts your way Becky and wish you strength and fortitude for what lies ahead.
Until next week,
Yours with much love

Hi Catherine, I enjoyed reading your thoughts on decluttering this week – something I am in dire need of doing myself!

Thanks Marie😊
I know the feeling! It takes awhile to psyche ourselves up to do it but it feels great afterwards 😊

Hi Marie,
Thank you for the roundup, and thank you for including my photographs and searching for clues post. I appreciate your comment on it as well. As you said, cancer was hiding like a hand grenade. No kidding. I know it’s not logical at all, but I can’t help but ask, how could we not have known? Hope you have a good week, Marie. x
