Weekly Round-Up: The Connecting Edition
Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.
To mark Rare Disease Day on 28th February, Helen shares her story of Radiation-Induced Lumbar Plexopathy and Fiona writes of how shared commitment and connection can make all the difference to how we cope with serious illness.
Staying connected to the connections that nourish us is also the theme of Stephanie‘s latest blog this week and Becky writes a very interesting post on finding just the right social network for support at just the right.
Gorgeous post from Philippa recounting her trip to Findhorn Beach.
Do you ever get frustrated when you are trying to live a healthy lifestyle only to discover that one “healthy” thing is not so healthy after all? Caroline shares her frustration with the latest research on herbal teas on her blog.
Nancy has issued an invitation on her blog for guest contributors from the metastatic breast cancer community.
Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) Day was yesterday and to mark the day, TNBC survivor, Eileen has guest blogged on the SHARE Cancer Network on coping with chemo and Catherine shares practical TNBC information on her blog.
Katie shares her thoughts on scanxiety in her latest post.
Lovely posts on friendship from Nic and Karin this week.
Another thought-provoking blog by Sue on suffering and compassion.
Introducing a new blog to the weekly roundup – Juliet FitzPatrick’s Blooming Cancer – a blog about breast cancer and flowers.
Such an enjoyable read at Connie‘s blog this week – it’s all about finding the funny in life.
On the flip side of Connie’s post, Uzma writes of a recent experience when laughter most certainly was not the best medicine.
Finally this week, a big warm welcome back to the blogosphere to Liz and Deanna who fill us in on what’s been happening in their lives since we last heard from them.
Until next week,
Yours with much love always

Thanks, Marie. I’m so glad you found enjoyment in reading what I wrote. I think it’s my ‘Scotch-Irish’ roots that gives me that love of stories and delight in telling them. Best to you this day, Connie
