Whether you’re an author like Ms. Atwood, or you find solace in writing in your journal, getting your thoughts onto the page does give you power. The only thing I could write during cancer treatment was half-sentences in my journal. Sometimes they were rants, and sometimes they were prayers of thanksgiving for the people in my path who provided grace for the journey.
