Short and sweet and wow, I wish I looked like that. But hey, I’ve turned 53, so what should I expect? Oh, I’ve busted on myself. I know many of you here are a bit younger, but it’ll sneak up on you faster than you know! So as George Lopez says, “Wash out!”

Now that’s the way to start off a Monday. The saying describes exactly what I’m doing now. And I’m 59. So one is never too old. XOXO

Oh, Jan, you and are still hot; thanks for reminding me there are a few of us past our 30’s and 40s’. But we all seem to bond so well thanks to places like this to come.

Yes, Rachel, we are, aren’t we? I wanted to let you know that not everyone in this community is in their 30’s and 40’s. And we do bond so well. Age doesn’t matter in this corner of the blogosphere! XOXO

Age so doesn’t matter Jan – I think we transcend the age and geographical barriers in our wonderful community, don’t you agree? 🙂

You are absolutely right, Marie. Age and geography present no barriers to this community. I was first diagnosed at age 43–so I didn’t quite fit into the under-40 breast cancer support group or the over-60 crowd at the hospital. But I chose the younger group. I felt more comfortable and alive among the newer generation. Your blog is even better because you impose NO age restrictions. XOXO

There is still life after 80. I’m 81. I feel incredible gratitude for the many years I have been granted. And I’m not ready to quit any time soon. Just had two cataract surgeries and I see amazing stuff. Too bad I can see my wrinkles so much better!
