Poetry Friday
Be The Gift
Today, be the flower
that grows from a rock.
Be the silk breeze
that soothes heated hearts.
Be the candle flame
that banishes darkness.
Be the fresh stream
that gives fish a home.
Be the stillness
that provokes sweet peace.
Be the smile
that quenches all fear.
These
are the seeds of joy.

Marie, this is just beautiful. I can totally identify with the photo; we saw that beautiful place, the Burren, stopping to take pictures for the folks back home.
I can just envision the watercolor artists out in the fresh air, the plein air people, wielding their paint brushes on paper secured to hastily set-up easels to capture the wildflowers in such a rugged setting. My heart goes out to Co. Clare, the county of the artists and musicians.
Thank you also for the inspiring poem. It made my day, and my weekend!
XOXOXO,
Jan
