Weekly Round Up
Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Just click on the highlighted links to read the posts. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.
I am starting off with a very moving post from Sarah on her blog Being Sarah. She describes very vividly the panic and the disorientation which can affect many of us as we lie there in our surgical gowns about to undergo yet another hospital procedure – in Sarah’s case, a nipple reconstruction.
Nancy has been adding her voice this week to the debate on the sexualization of breast cancer on her blog, Nancy’s Point.
Check out Kim’s wonderful alphabet blogging challenge..she is almost at the end, but you can still catch up with it at Kim’s Ponderings Beyond Breast Cancer .
Lauren’s blog After Five Years features such beautiful writing that I come away each time feeling moved and inspired. Her latest post “Signs” is so worth taking the time to read this week. And you will find another moving and beautiful reflection on bravery in Bringing Up Goliath which makes me think strongly of all the brave, beautiful women we know.
Jackie’s Grand Rounds is off to a great start with a stellar line up of posts which I know you will enjoy reading as much I did.
Adventure is in the air for three of my favorite bloggers, Feisty Blue Gecko , Terri on her South African adventure and closer to home for me, Jan is visiting my home turf of Ireland, and with a bit of Irish luck, I shall get to meet her!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone..and keep on blogging.
