Would like to meet

You all know how much I enjoy the interaction with like-minded people online. I have shared and learned so much from you (and as an added bonus some of you have become treasured friends!). It is also wonderful when the opportunity presents itself to meet up in “real life”, to ask questions and learn from other bloggers.  The latest opportunity to come my way is the KLCLK network and next Monday, bloggers keen on sharing information, or chatting to other bloggers will have the chance to meet in Kilkenny.

It is a wonderful initiative for sharing knowledge and networking which was set up by Amanda Webb of Spiderworking.com and Lorna Sixsmith of Garrendenny Lane Interiors.

In an interview published today in Silicon Republic, Amanda explains that  “The inspiration for the network came to me when I was at a social media conference in London. Listening to people talking about similar groups in London I thought it would be great to start something locally,”

The bloggers group, which is free to attend, is designed to attract bloggers at all levels, and although primarily servicing the Kildare, Laois, Carlow and Kilkenny regions, the group is open to anyone from anywhere. The network meets on the second Monday of each month, alternating between the four counties. This month it is the turn of Kilkenny, meeting  in the Pembroke Hotel at 7pm on Monday, 11 October.

The meeting is an opportunity for experienced bloggers to share their knowledge and experience with those who are just starting out. I will be there to talk about ways to drive more traffic to your blog and I am really looking forward to meeting up with everyone again. The event itself will be shown live via a Twitter feed for those unable to attend.
