How did your child cope with your diagnosis of breast cancer?

The organisation Living Beyond Breast Cancer is looking for stories on how children coped with their mother’s diagnosis of breast cancer, to feature in their Insight newsletter.

It can be hard for children when they hear that their mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Sometimes sharing their experiences with other kids who are going through the same thing can help.

If you think your child might be interested, ask him or her to write a 100-word paragraph answering the following questions:

How did you feel when your mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, and what helped you feel better?

LBBC will pick a few of the responses and include them in the Just for Me section of Insight. Send responses to editor@lbbc.org.
