BREAST FEST
BREAST FEST is the world’s first film festival dedicated to breast cancer awareness.
This annual festival includes short films, documentaries, animation, dramatic features and experimental works which span the emotional spectrum. Through the use of film and new media, BREAST FEST is dedicated to showcasing the many issues surrounding breast cancer in significant and interesting ways, and connecting people to the breast cancer cause. BREAST FEST is an initiative of Rethink Breast Cancer.
Both filmmakers and those touched by breast cancer – directly or indirectly – are invited to submit a short film, animation or PSA that shed light on the issues surrounding breast cancer and breast health in unique and creative ways.The top films will be posted on the BREAST FEST website for the public to watch and vote for their favorite film in September. It certainly sounds like an innovative way to highlight awareness of breast cancer and a creative opportunity to tell your story.
