Cancer Support Conference, 27th – 28th February 2009

The Irish Cancer Society is holding a conference which will be of interest to anyone with a history of cancer or who is going through cancer treatment (and their spouses and partners). Issues relating to psychological well-being and the emotional effects of a cancer diagnosis will be explored in detail.

Former army office, double amputee and inspirational speaker, Chris Moon, MBE is the key speaker. Chris will discuss difficult issues, dealing with worry and negativity, being positive and making the best of everything. His mantra is “never assume the role of the victim”.
