A very powerful and poignant post from Johanna who is still holding on.
Beautiful reflection from Sue on sharing our stories.
Julia about our inter-dependence in her latest post.
Nancy Seibel shares a simple, powerful way of bringing joy to others.
Finally this week, I leave you with a quote chosen by Abigail for her post on Service.

Abigails quote was chosen because I think in our writing this is what we all hope to achieve – we’ve been through hell and came out to show what the devil himself looks like and feels like. And the ascension out of our own personal places of pain are made by lighting candles from the fiery depths to enlighten those who may be going through their own. Our readers aren’t just those with cancer. Our readers are from every walk of life where the next step is at times hard to make and the path is dark and frightening. For my own life, it’s the effects of my cancer in relationships, in the medical world, in the greater blogging community – and those who have become my true friends. While I may never meet them face to face I’ve learnt over these 5 plus years to expand my conception of friendship and to redefine the meaning of love. The amount of love that’s come to light my way is mind boggling and I’d not have taken a different path given my situation if someone told me I would live six months longer by not going this way. I’d never have found you or the other firefighters who quench my body when I’m on fire and can’t find my way home. Here’s a song from blind faith that never fails to bring tears to my eyes…but I’d dedicate to all of you who know what I mean. 🥰

The quote is one of my favorites Ilene and thank you for also acknowledging that we come wounded from all walks of life and circumstances. And my gratitude to you for a wonderful song choice – listening on repeat as I type these words xxx
