Weekly Round-Up
Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.

A beautifully reflective post from Allie on haircuts, chemo curls and lingering cancer impacts.
Whether you have breast cancer or are having a prophylactic mastectomy to reduce your risk of getting breast cancer, Terri‘s latest post on breast reconstruction from clinic to canvas is a must-read.
A post from Barbara on the difficulty of finding accessible information on cancer treatment.
Great advice from Nancy Siebel on figuring out your life’s work.
Have you had a dream interrupted by an unforeseen change in your life? How can you get back up and take the steps that are needed to see the fulfillment of that dream? These questions beautifully pondered as always by Connie.
Karin writes this week about how music can play negatively with our emotions.
Terrific advice from Cathy on finding time to exercise.
Lovely post from Audrey in praise of family, friendship and flowers.

The realities of scanxiety laid bare by Janet.
Philippa shares her recent travel adventures in a gorgeous post about holding onto dreams.
Shine Cancer guest poster Sara explains how writing helped her cope with cancer – and provides some tips on how you can get started writing too.
Just love Julia‘s life philosophy of taking life as it comes captured beautifully in her latest post.
Finally this week, I leave you with a writing prompt. Feel free to write about it (or share a picture) on your blog, or simply leave a comment below.
Until next week,
Yours with much love always,

Thank you for including my blog again in this week’s roundup, Marie. Did you get another email? I was making some changes to the look of the blog, and I’m never sure whether that sends a notification out to everyone again! Apologies if it did. 😉 x

Late
Im late
And I’m not a jerk or ingrate.
But by day
And by night
I cannot keep a date
That’s fate
For us
Whose cancer doesn’t wait
For us to bathe
Or catch some sleep
Or even masticate!
Belated I may be
In my ability
To express
For sweet largess
As you have shown Marie
To a blogger such as me!
I may be off in timing but
My thoughts are pure and real
And this is how I feel
I thank you so
For a loyal show
Of your readership and to me.
And now I’ve got to go!
For another place I must be.
And with a hug a kiss and all,
My gratitude will fall
Like footprints on your wall.
Oh no!
Can’t be!
The time cannot it isn’t true!
I’m late again, oh poo
So I must go
For now, you know,
But next week I hope to see
My blog show you
A thing or two
If I could only write on time
You’d not have to read such rhyme.
