Curating List Of Breast Cancer Blogs
I was asked recently if I would add a list of breast cancer blogs to my curated lists on List.ly. I think it’s a great idea and I have started populating the list with some of your blogs today. You can check it out here.
If you are already on this list, please feel free to edit your entry to include more details of what your blog is about, how people can find you on social media, etc. You can also upload a preferred image to go with your entry.
If you aren’t on the list, please do add your blog. And if you are a reader of breast cancer blogs, please do add your suggestions to the list.
This list is not ranked according to popularity, but if you wish to show your appreciation for your favorite blogs, you can click “like” on the profile. You can also add your comments or questions if you wish below each entry.
If you have any suggestions for how to make this list better, please do let me know.
I would like to suggest my blog for the list please. Working it out as I go along. Thank you Sharon 🙂

Hi. This month I started my blog, All About Thriving. It’s about my take on health, wellness and the politics of sociology of cancer and “my story” and analyses regarding breast cancer. I intend to post weekly. It’s also linked to my Facebook page All About Thriving. Thanks, Sara

Marie, I tried adding my blog. It may be there, but I’m having computer issues — okay, it’s probably me, but at any rate, if you wouldn’t mind adding my blog in case I messed up, which is likely. Thank you!

Eileen, I meant to contact you separately on this. I tried adding your blog yesterday several times – but no luck. I sometimes have issues when I try to access your account – maybe contact WP about this?

Marie, you’re not the first person who mentioned they had trouble with my site, mainly that it was slow. It may be my web host, but I also think it may be the WP theme I chose. It’s pretty, but underdeveloped. I think it’s time to try a new theme and that may help. Thanks for letting me know.

Please add me to the list. I’m a nurse and writer. My husband died in 2010 of esophageal cancer. I wrote my way through the journey. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and I’ve started a blog: http://www.cancerBrat.com. Follow me at http://www.terryratnerwordpress.com for the Widow’s Corner. Please include my blogs in your list.
Thanks,
Terry

Hi Marie-
I’m having trouble with the links to your list of breast cancer blogs. Neither seem to work; is there an alternate link that’s not a list.ly shortlink?
I’m producing a documentary about nipple tattoos for breast cancer survivors who’ve had mastectomies, and I wanted to share some of our information with you.
Thanks!

Hi Patrick, not sure what you mean re links. This is a list of breast cancer blogs written by breast cancer patients/survivors. If you have a blog that fits this category I am happy to post it for you.

Dear Marie,
This is an absolutely wonderful idea! I’d be honored if you would include on your list my blog, “Musings of a Cancer Research Advocate,” at http://draemadden.wordpress.com/. I’m a breast cancer survivor as well as a young adult survivor of stage III Hodgkin’s lymphoma. (Secondary to my treatment for Hodgkin’s in the late 80s, I went on to develop a number of late effects, primarily from my radiation, including my breast cancer as well as cardiac toxicities.) By far, the primary focus of my blog is on breast cancer. (My most recent posting focuses on learning about my friend and cousin’s metastatic breast cancer diagnosis while I was at this year’s ASCO meeting: as I noted in the blog, this was by far one of the most difficult posts I’ve written. http://draemadden.wordpress.com/2014/07/13/a-heart-wrenching-meeting/)
Thanks again, Marie, for everything that you do!
My best,
Debra
