Friday Round-Up
Time for the weekly round-up of blogs. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Just click on the highlighted links to read the posts. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.
I am starting off this week’s round-up, not with a breast cancer post, but with a heart-felt plea from A Fresh Chapter to take a compassionate look at the heart-wrenching crisis in Somalia. Before you shy away from this, I urge you to read Terri’s wonderfully written post, which will I am sure will not fail to move you to action – I know it did me!
Both Uneasy Pink and The Accidental Amazon are on a pink roll this past week, almost drowning in a sea of the stuff and they have the images to prove it.
Brenda has been celebrating friendship and role models in her latest post and Bringing Up Goliath has been to a wedding in her home town which has triggered old memories in a very evocative post.
Sarah has been to see the queen, yes, really! And has been telling us all about her right royal day out in her latest post.
Finally, Jan has been on my mind so much this week as she awaits the results of some tests for chest pain she has been experiencing. In a statement that will echo with so many of us, she says that the “wait-and-see” game doesn’t work well with people having a history of cancer. We have enough anxiety. Spare a thought and a prayer for Jan this week and if you have the time, why not visit her blog to show your support.

Thank you, Marie, not only for including me among these amazing bloggers, but for rounding up such a wonderful collection. I’ve been away from my computer much the last few weeks and can tell you I really appreciate finding these wonderful posts in one place. I’m feeling out of sorts. I don’t like falling behind with all of you. Thank you!

I hung on every word of Sarah’s visit to the palace. That’s the closest I’ll ever get. And Jan, yes please keep Jan in your prayers. We all know we’re never done with breast cancer, but we pray this is nothing more than aches and pains. As James would say, it’s the “A” word. Age.
Thank you for including me in your weekly roundup. We are a diverse group and yet, share so many things on such a profound level.
XOXOXO,
Brenda
