Weekly Round Up
Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blogs which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Just click on the highlighted links to read the posts. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.
Starting off this week’s round up with a new blog for you – Whatever works.
Dr Wendy Harpham has been writing this week on the 5 Rs to Healthy Survivorship.
In Statistics Stashmisticks, Catherine writes of her abhorence of the numbers game and how “when you turn a person’s experience into numbers, you lose everything that was important in their journey.”
Lauren has added her voice to the debate on the sexualization of breast cancer and it is, as you would expect from Lauren, a thoughtful and meaningful read.
Kim has survived her A-Z blogging challenge and is now pondering Seeds of Dreams in her latest post.
In Cancer, internet and unexpected emotions Feisty Blue Gecko has been reflecting on the common bond that unites us as breast cancer survivors through social media platforms and the sadness we all feel at the passing of one of us. She dedicates her post to the sad passing of Sarah or as she was better known to many of us as her blogging alter-ego, Carcinista.
Uneasy Pink also includes Carcinista in her powerful six reasons to care post as indeed did Anna R and many other bloggers affected by Sarah’s death.
Brenda’s latest post on lifelines has given me great encouragement and I know it will do the same for anyone of you dealing with your own fears, losses and griefs. What an inspiration she is!
And finally, still on their adventures are Terri and Jan who I am hoping to be able to meet this weekend in Dublin.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone..and keep on blogging.
