How feelings hold the key to our emotional freedom
I have really been enjoying a series of posts on Accomplish Change delving behind our everyday feelings and what they can teach us.
Our feelings are nature’s way of guiding us to take action because our needs aren’t been met in allowing us to move forward in self understanding and personal growth. When we ignore our feelings our lives become filled with frustration, stress, and depression.
“So”, asks the author Aisling Killoran, “what if we could just PAUSE for a moment and be with the possibility of allowing our internal guidance system to support us, instead of suppressing it, through coping and distraction?”
Good question!

Great info to share Marie! Now if I could only find my “PAUSE” button I might be all set:)

Great post and even better topic. I found this to be even more true after being diagnosed with breast cancer. I had scheduled a family visit and when my husband asked if we should cancel I kept saying “I’m fine, I’m fine” until I burst into tears at a restaurant with him. Clearly, I was not fine. I canceled the trip for some “quiet time” to figure out my next move and my family was very understanding.
