Friday Round-Up
Today I am introducing a new regular feature on the JBBC blog – a weekly round up of the best of the blogs over the past week. Do let me know if you have read or written anything in the blogosphere which you would like me to include and I will be happy to do so.
Pam Stephan has been giving advice to travellers with cancer, particularly in light of the recent American TSA controversial screening debate. Several commentators have expressed dismay at the story of the breast cancer survivor who had to show TSA her breast prosthesis and she asks the question is this going too far? What do you think?

Were you following the tweets from the Life Beyond Breast Cancer conference? It made me wish I had been able to attend. Sounds like it was an empowering and uplifting occasion. If you missed out you can catch up on what happened via http://lifebeyondcancer.org/blog/

Jody Schoger, one of the speakers at LBC , blogs at http://womenwcancer.blogspot.com/ and Brenda from Breast Cancer Sisterhood has helped us all feel part of what went on with her latest blog post on the retreat.

Embraced is a beautiful reflection this week from Chemobabe on loss, death, and hope. She also mentions the LBC conference which she attended.

And in keeping with this week’s theme of thankfulness, Jackie at Dispatch from Second Base has been listing the 5 reasons she is grateful for cancer. Can you add to this list?

Finally, I came across a new blog this week, written by Heidi van Loggerenberg from Johannesburg, South Africa. Heidi was diagnosed with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ, stage 0) breast cancer and her blog is her story of how she is healing herself from the outside and from within. Check out http://www.heidishealing.blogspot.com/
I love your new feature! What a great idea. Looking forward to checking out these links later today. Have a great wk/end everyone.
