We are all heroes
I think a hero is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles ~ Christopher Reeve
Although he never planned it that way, Christopher Reeve became a real life super hero for our time. When a riding accident changed his life forever, he showed grace, determination, commitment, and courage in living with disability. We are all of us capable of the same in our own lives.
I’m not living the life I thought I would lead, but it does have meaning, purpose. There is love… there is joy… there is laughter ~ Christopher Reeve
God spoke through your post today! Thanks!

Marie,
Heroes are champions who are born to challenge and push-back the boundaries of freedom, irrespective of their physical limitations.
To conclude, I’d quote a stanza from a Sharon Frye poem I came across in the internet sometime ago.
“The light in heroes gives us strength
To shine in Life ablaze-
And become the courage for our soul
To make our weakness brave…”

definitely agree. the ordinary life is by no means ordinary. it is hard. it is a struggle. i don’t think many americans understand this, we don’t take the time to realize just how hard this life can be. a hard, yet noble journey, too..if we would slow down to see it
