Be a volunteer at the LIVESTRONG global cancer summit

The cancer charity established by cycling champion Lance Armstrong is seeking volunteers to help out at a major conference on the disease in Dublin later this month.
Up to 500 delegates, including health ministers from several countries and representatives from cancer agencies, are expected to attend the three-day event in the RDS from August 24th-26th. The Livestrong cancer summit, organised by the Lance Armstrong Foundation, intends to kick-start a global advocacy campaign to secure international commitments on cancer control.
The foundation is seeking up to 250 volunteers to help at various locations around Dublin in the two days prior to the event, and also to assist during the three days of the conference.
Interested candidates are invited to register on the Livestrong website at http://volunteer.livestrong.org/summit where details of the various roles are given.
I’ve already signed up, so looking forward to meeting a lot of you there. Leave a comment if you are planning on attending or volunteering, as it would be great to get a sense of who will be there.
