LIVESTRONG Leaders

I believe in the power of advocacy and I have been working in my community as a breast cancer advocate for the past three years, so I am excited to now have the opportunity to reach out and connect with the global cancer community. I have just become a LIVESTRONG Leader, an exciting intiative of the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

LAF believe that it is through the active participation of hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of well organized cancer advocates that together, we will be able to make cancer a global priority. LIVESTRONG Leaders and their groups are the mechanism for uniting cancer advocates and driving change.

LIVESTRONG Leaders engage friends, families and community members in collective action to make cancer a priority. Led by cancer survivors and supporters, these individuals work within their local communities to raise awareness, reduce stigma and generate funding for the cancer fight.
