Weekly Round-Up

Welcome back, dear readers. It’s a pleasure as always to round-up the the highlights of this week’s blogosphere for you.

I was delighted to discover an interview between Rod Ritchie and the wonderful Dr Deanna Attai, who recently retired from 38 years in medicine, and who was one of the co-founders of the trailblazing #BCSM Twitter community.

And another delightful interview between two of my favorite people, Beth and Terri showcasing Beth’s art series – “Breast Cancer, Female and Young.” Beth also has a terrific new post on her blog on the beautiful art of kitsugi.

I appreciated reading Nancy‘s post on grief this week and her belief (which I share) that there is no “other side of grief.”

This being Labor Day weekend in the US, Barbara has written on the topic of work and employment.

Chris’ latest post discusses the key issues in current cancer care, the need for comprehensive reform and the importance of patient advocacy.

In her latest post, Abigail discusses the emotional and mental toll of living with metastatic breast cancer and describes how her current treatment, Enhertu, causes significant fatigue, impacting her ability to write and engage in other activities.

The SBC blog explores two complementary therapies: Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and brainspotting for breast cancer recovery.

Jennifer writes about the transformational effect of low-dose vaginal estrogen on her life.

Martha shares her personal experience of making diet changes while living with metastatic breast cancer.

Finally this week, a profound post from Carolyn on how becoming a patient is a daily exercise in accepting reality.

Until next week,

Yours with much love always
