Finally this week, the peerless Deanna J. Attai, MD announced her retirement. Reflecting the sentiments of Terri, who has put together a beautiful retirement tribute, many of us, myself included, find this announcement to be a bittersweet one. A co-founder of the trail-blazing #BCSM Twitter chat, Dr Attai was a regular fixture on the weekly round-up for many years, skillfully delivering cutting-edge research in a manner that was both understandable and enlightening through her blog. She consistently embodied the essence of patient-centered care, a quality much needed in the medical field. The world could certainly benefit from more professionals like Dr. Attai. Wishing you all the very best in your retirement Dr. Attai, though we will miss your presence greatly.
Until next time
Yours with much love always
