Announcing the NED Retreat – Moving Beyond Cancer
I promised you new directions for Journeying Beyond Breast Cancer, and I am delighted to be able to announce the first of these today. In partnership with Máire Garvey, founder, Dip in the Nip Foundation, I am organizing a special retreat for people who have finished cancer treatment and wondering what the next step to take is.
You can learn all about our joint venture at http://nedretreat.com
What a wonderful concept! I wish I could be part of this retreat. An incredible new direction for an incredible blog. Congratulations, and keep up the good work. xo

I hope this becomes a huge success because retreats like this are so needed. There was one here in the US that I’ve been a speaker at, but they don’t have the money to fund it this year, and that’s sad for everyone concerned. You do such a great job, Marie, of nurturing all of us, and in turn, this will nurture you as well. If I had money to spare, I’d be there in a heartbeat.
XOXOXO,
Brenda

This is so great!! I do need this kind of guidance, as other patients who ended treatment before me are being diagnosed again… Terror is the word. I try to find the balance between not being pessimist and excessively positive that would never happen again for me. Among all trying to fit into this new “world”.
Congratulations on this. I should tell my psychologist we need to organize something. =)

Dear Vilma, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. it is a scary place to be, especially when we learn of others who have a recurrence. It is true that we need to find a balance and that is not always easy.

Wow, what a wonderful blog! As a former oncology nurse, complementary therapist and having completed many years ago the Health Creation training with Rosy Daniels I can not only see the incredible value of such a program, but would like to encourage every woman with an experience of Breast Cancer to engage in this program. It’s time well spent on yourself. May you be happy, may you be well!
