I’ll be walking (not running) on Sunday with some friends in Paris. Is it worth doing? Yeah, I think so. Last year at this time I was finishing up the chemo and couldn’t go. This year I can and I will. If nothing else, to say “thank you” to the ladies who marched for me and people like me last year.
". . .and the world cannot be discovered by a journey of miles, no matter how long, but only by a spiritual journey, a journey of one inch, very arduous and humbling and JOYFUL, by which we arrive at the ground at our own feet, and learn to be at home."
Wendell Berry
