Weekly Round-Up
Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blogs which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Remember, if you have written or read a post recently which you would like me to share with readers, then please leave a comment below.
Lots of great posts this week on the Chemobrain blog, and my favorite was the one AnneMarie wrote on the power of words, which in turn inspired Lori to write the wonderfully titled, Random Acts of Cancer.
Debbie has an eclectic offering of words on her blog covering such diverse topics as kitchen renovations to mindfulness and sex. And Kathi is reviewing the words in the book Breasts — A Natural and Unnatural History by Florence Williams – really fascinating to read her review.
More words from Nancy, who has written an e-book aimed at helping those who are facing into chemotherapy work through their fear. Nancy is a fearlessly honest and insightful writer and I just know this book will be a wonderful support to cancer patients.
The latest post from Terri comes from Peru and I love how she writes about being vulnerable and yet, not letting fears and worries stand in the way of following her dreams.
Ok, enough words for now..let’s get visual…
I think we have really hit on something with the writing prompts we have been challenged to in the blogosphere lately, and I loved this week’s challenge from Jen which was inspired by a post on Carole Cluer’s blog
Post a photo or self portrait or other form of visual art (if you are not comfortable sharing your visage with us) of yourself that describes who you have been within the last six months.
The Pink Underbelly rose beautifully to the challenge; as did Jan, Catherine and Flo.
Finally, Sarah has posted some visual reminders of what has mattered most to her in the past six months – remembering Rachel

Until next week.
Yours with love
Marie xxx
