Quotation Inspiration: Inspiring Quotes For Cancer Patients
I’m putting together my regular monthly article for the Patient Empowerment Foundation, and this month I thought I’d like to share some inspirational quotes.
Regular readers know how much of a quoteaholic I am – each Monday on this blog, I like to share a motivational quote to start the week – so I’m not short of quotes, but I thought it would be fun to reach out to you and ask you to share with me some of your favorite inspirational quotes. What words of wisdom have helped you get through your cancer experience? Please take a few moments to share them in the comments below.
Looking forward to reading your quotes.

Hi Marie
I’ve so many favourites but here’s one 😘
I have a few very special friends to which this applies and to whom I am so grateful, always.

Marie,
When inspiration moves to another neighborhood, I often reference poetry especially Mary Oliver and Maya Angelou (And Still I Rise). Yet I shiver in the cool winds of words whispered in history, my mind running wild as I open up my quotebook (notebook of quotes)‘ to add or to discover. I picked these randomly on purpose, and in no quantitative or qualitative importance of order:
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
— Maya Angelou
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
— Martin Luther King Jr.
“The knack of flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”
—Douglas Adams
And on that note feel free to reach out air you need to brainstorm an idea for a specific idea vertical.

Ilene, wonderful, wonderful quotes, especially the Maya Angelou one. Love the idea of a quotebook – I am a real quoteaholic myself and these are wonderful additions to any quotebook x
