#WorldCancerDay: What Does It Mean To You?
Today, 4 February marks World Cancer Day.
Each year on this date across the world people come together to show support, raise our collective voice, take personal action and press our governments to do more.
This year’s World Cancer Day’s theme, ‘I Am and I Will’, is all about how you and your commitment to act will lead to powerful progress in reducing the global impact of cancer.
‘I Am and I Will’ is an empowering call-to-action urging for personal commitment and represents the power of individual action taken now to impact the future.
I know that so many of you already embody this theme and live it every day. I’m in awe of all you do, particularly those of you who work tirelessly to raise awareness of metastatic breast cancer.
