Weekly Round-Up

Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. I  hope those of you who celebrated had a lovely Christmas. I loved seeing Becky‘s pics of Christmas in the Canyons – a Christmas with a difference.

I’m acutely aware of those for whom this season is a lonely and sad one for many reasons. Karin has some wise and compassionate advice for those who struggle with loneliness at this time.

This time of the year is naturally a time for reflection and as we stand on the cusp of a new year, Audrey reflects back on a year of paradox in her own life.

A tough post to read on Susan Rosen‘s blog  – the reality of metastatic breast cancer without any sugar-coating.

Dee looks back on 12 months of blogging about ovarian cancer in her latest post.

Having only discovered Cathy‘s blog towards the end of this year, it’s a real pleasure to take time to read her year-end round-up. I recommend you set aside some time and do the same.

I really enjoyed reading Sue‘s comfort list this week – a list of stress-relieving tips she has tried over the past couple of years.

This is also a time of looking forward as well as back, as Connie so beautifully captures in her latest post.

We’re in that period of the year that feels like suspended time, hanging between the current year and approaching the new one, taking those uncertain steps toward the future.

Looking toward the new year  Danielle has a New Year’s resolution with a difference.

As I’m not one for making new year’s resolutions, so I really like both Barbara and Lisa’s resolve to make every day count next year.
