Humbled and thrilled again for inclusion in this community of beautiful people and the wisdom they share. Selfishly, it comes during a much needed time on the heels of a weekend of physical pain and suffering due to prescription screw ups, fighting a flu, recovering from a periocentesis resulting in four liters of fluid drained from my abdomen, and a rollercoaster ride with my husband’s depression. The best jokes end with the most unexpected punchlines. Thank you for also bringing blogs I’d not known yet to my attention, I’m inspired by the others in the weekly roundup, whether or not it’s inclusive of a post from my blog.
This past week brought to the cancerbus.com a woman who had just received a stage III breast cancer diagnosis via a reblog of my post on the diffusion of time. She reached out to me and one comforting piece of advice I’ve found solace in was the strong network of arms created by all of us who share our experiences.We are out here to hold her up as best as possible during this confusing, upsetting, life altering time in her life and that we all are so grateful to give of our experiences to help her now and as she moves through treatments and beyond.
The goal of my blog when I set out two years ago was to simply help one person not feel alone in their cancer journey and beyond, especially the bewilderment I felt in those first months post diagnosis. So thank you for getting out the word that we are here; so much more important than ever.

By the way each week I try to follow my cobloggers from the roundup on twitter and I’m always reading & reblog posts from new writers and many great words and perspectives are dynamic and uniquely moving yet all quality and with some humor. Thank you for bringing more of the community together.
