Weekly Round-Up: The Life is a Lot Edition

Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blog posts which I’ve read over the past week. I am stealing this week’s Weekly Round-Up tagline – “life is a lot” – from Elizabeth‘s latest post on problem-solving – sometimes life truly is a lot and there is not much we can do to solve some of its problems.

I’ve just returned from speaking at the 11th European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC-11) in Barcelona this week and the theme of my talk was about the invaluable knowledge we as patients can share with each other – a theme that is reflected in Caroline‘s latest blog.

In my talk, I also stressed the importance of physicians involving themselves in online social media discourse and pointed to Dr Deanna Attai’s involvement in #BCSM as a great example of this. In her latest post, Dr Attai writes about why she feels compelled to use social media to reach patients.
