Thanks for this opportunity, Marie. In March a good friend died of secondary breast cancer, within weeks of finding a tumour in her neck. She had been complaining of aches for some months. We, her friends, accompanied her very closely during the last weeks and days, exactly in the way she wanted. She remained in charge throughout. As the title of the post says: when my friend died she gave me a gift that changed my life. https://karinsieger.com/friend-died-gift-change-life/ My best wishes to all. Peace and love for 2018 and beyond. Karin

I haven’t blogged much this year, but “Unsolicited Advice” was by far the most popular. http://www.womaninthehat.com/unsolicited-advice/

Ok, so maybe I took you a little too literally or went a little overboard on this assignment; regardless, I have been wanting to celebrate my 5th blogiversary the past month or so and decided to take today to do so. Here is the result: https://searchingforemwa.com/2017/12/30/happy-5th-blogiversary/

Congratulations! It’s not always easy to keep up a blog. We start with great intentions but many fall by the wayside along the way. So it’s worth celebrating our commitment. Long may you continue to blog!
