Celebrating the Ordinary: Summing Up

Well we did it! Seven days celebrating the ordinary. You really surpassed all my expectations with your contributions. Quite quickly this exercise took on an element of the spiritual. I feel it made us all more present in our lives, more connected to the moment. And it was wonderful to get a sense of how interconnected we are.  Though separated by many miles in the far flung corners of this globe, we truly are one in spirit.

Not only has it been amazing to see how much we are all on the same page…that we can draw a line from one post to the next (I had a tree pic today!), but that it unites us in so many ways, transcending the reasons we came into the bonds that keep us here ~ Regrounding

We are forever linked not just by breast cancer, but by an unspoken bond developed by shared experiences and getting to know one another through our blogs. No BS, no waisted platitudes like so, “Where did you grow up?” or “How long have you lived here?” None of that matters because we have far deeper and more meaningful things to share and ways to support one another ~ Breast Cancer Sisterhood

Who would have thought this simple exercise could be so powerful? Even though this week has ended, I do hope you will continue this practise. I am continuing to take a picture each day to celebrate the ordinary and I would love to hear from you if you decide to carry on with it too.
