Many of you were a wonderful support to me last year at the time of my beloved mother’s death. I found great solace in being able to write about her dying and reading your comments and shared experiences of losing your own loved ones.
One of the posts I wrote, The Hand That First Held Mine has been nominated for a People’s Choice Award blog award and it would mean the world to me to win it. The awards will take place almost a year after Mum’s death and to me it seems such a fitting and beautiful way to honor her memory.
So, I am asking you all to do me a small favor please.
Please click on this link and vote for it.
Thanks so much for your continued support. It means everything to me.

Just voted for you, Marie. It’s a poignant piece. Your mother was, and would be, so proud of you. I know this hasn’t been an easy journey, but you’re taking all the right steps.
