I was going to say, “very nice,” but then realized there’s not much deepness in that. This mindful Monday feels like another sign that meditation might be a great thing.
Marie,
I sometimes think those of us who’ve lost our health and those we love are more cognizant that right now, as I leave you this message, may be all the time we ever have. Savor it and be joyful. Love deeply and be grateful unto God.
When you have been in remission for some time it is easy to forget this gratefulness for each day. This is something cancer certainly teaches us. We need to remember it daily
What a great reality check on our state of mind! It makes me stop in my mental tracks. How will I spend that moment? Thanks for the reminder that life is fleeting and love is lasting. xx
". . .and the world cannot be discovered by a journey of miles, no matter how long, but only by a spiritual journey, a journey of one inch, very arduous and humbling and JOYFUL, by which we arrive at the ground at our own feet, and learn to be at home."
Wendell Berry
