Weekly Round Up
Time for this week’s round-up of the best of the blogs over the past week. These are the posts that have moved me, taught me something, inspired me, and which I’ve wanted to share with you. Just click on the highlighted links to read the posts. Don’t forget if you have written a post which you would like readers to see, just leave a comment below.
Lots of bloggesses have taken up my challenge of writing about their other life – you know the one you lead when you aren’t writing about cancer. It has been so wonderful to read the fantastic stories..and what interesting lives you have! I am not going to do a round up…just yet, because I want to do a special one at the end of the month with all your stories. So if you want to be included, there is still plenty of time to take part.
Meanwhile…
In One Wild Ride, Katy has written a most eloquent post on what it feels like to be gripped by anxiety. She is a very talented writer and is going through a bit of a tough time right now, so please show your support by visiting her site and leaving a comment.
Jackie has written a moving tribute to her brother-in-law Brad which vividly brings her loved one to life for all her readers.
In Love, Loss and What I Wore (don’t you just love Brenda’s titles!) Brenda has been writing about our post cancer battle scars.
And speaking of loss..in a richly themed post, Lauren is also writing about the losses brought about by cancer in our lives.
Jan has shared a little glimpse of her other life with her love of gardening. In Streams of Living Water, she draws parallels with how our lives are affected by cancer and how just like as our gardens need nurturing and tending, so too do our souls. And in Sarah’s Place – A Fitting Place for Restoration, she has also been writing about her experience of lingerie buying post mastectomy.
Nancy has been asking her readers what they think finding their “new normal “is all about.
And finally…still on her African adventure, Terri is sharing something more of the breath-taking beauty of the landscape, people and animals in her words and images at A Fresh Chapter.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Love

Another great round up – I’m echoing the other comments when I say how much I enjoy this every week. My only challenge is that I can’t access some of the great posts here – I will just have to save them all up till I am in a space with broader access. Thanks 🙂
