Winnie’s Words of Wisdom

So what is this little bear doing on a blog about breast cancer? Well, I have a real soft spot for AA Milne’s creation Winnie the Pooh and friends.  When the days seemed particularly dark and I was downhearted during the seemingly endless days of chemo, I would read the words of Christopher Robin to Pooh and remind myself that

You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

And in the end, it turns out that we are and that cancer teaches us the truth of  this. Have you got your own favourite quote or saying which got you through your darkest days? If so, I would love you to share it here to inspire others too.
